Abstract Rivers

Rivers provide a great source for abstract photography all year round. The depth of colour, from the dark peaty browns to the bronze and copper tones are always present, and in the summmer with the increased sunlight, the greens illumiate the flow  with vivid intensity. This environment provides a great oppertunity for capturing the water patterns with slow shutter speeds and intentional camera movement to accentuate the flow and show it in a different context to that normally enountered by the naked eye.
